In many scenarios, you might want to discuss the pricing before ordering a product. On Saladplate.com, suppliers have the option to show the product price or to direct you to them for quotations. If you have a question for the supplier, you can make use of Saladplate’s “Quote” function to make them an offer. The “Request a Quote” button is located on every product’s detail page.
Simply fill out your desired quantity, price in mind, and the description, then press submit. You can also add an attachment if you like. If you don't want to put a price, you can put a dummy number like 0.01 (since the price per item field is mandatory) and indicate that you wish to inquire that first in the description.
The supplier will receive an email about your quotation, and they will be able to respond back on Saladplate. Ultimately they will have the option to accept or decline it. If they accept your offer, they will have the option to invoice you via Saladplate.com.
You can manage all your offers in the “My Product Quotes” page, inside your account.
Here you can edit the quotation using the button at the "Action" column on the right.
